Mod CAT C12 Straight Pipe Sound v2.0 (1.49.x) for ATS | American Truck Simulator game.
CAT C12 Straight Pipe Sound - the new exhaust sound is deeper, more aggressive, and creates a more immersive driving experience. With this mod installed, you'll feel like you're driving a powerful truck with a more realistic engine sound.
Features CAT C12 Straight Pipe Sound:
- For SCS and truck mods;
- CAT C12 335-430HP and 475HP tuned with straight piped sound;
- Sound attenuation effects for realistic sound fade off from the distance;
- Sound distortions and directional effects for realistic distortions from different positions around the truck;
Quick tutorial on how to use CAST 1. Goto def/vehicle/truck/ 2. Rename one of zcustom_xx into truck def name you want
How to use idle jake brake: 1. hold light horn button (J button) for 1 second, then release 2. tap light horn button once again, and idle jake brake should be engaged 3. Repeat the same process to turn off
Note: idle jake brake system doesn't compatible with mods that contain interior switches sound (Sound fixes pack is exceptional but keep piority under my mod)\

Changes in v1.0: - CAT C12 335-430HP and 475HP tuned with straight piped sound - Max volume regulation to reduce chance of sound flickering and prevent too loud sound - Featured full 3D real directional engine sound for extra realistic and different sound from the front and the back of the truck - Interior insulation effects for realistic sound inside the truck (Highly recommended to put engine, exhaust, turbo volume slider to max) - Custom sound attenuation for realistic sound fade off and distortions - Custom exhaust distortions for realistic exhaust tone - Included idle jake brake system - Included Customizable Additional Supported Trucks (CAST)
- Copy files with extension .scs file(s) into your My Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod folder;
- Run game ~> Edit profile ~> Enable mod.
