Dodge D series DN800/D500 - was a popular model produced by Dodge from 1965 to 1971. It was part of the larger D Series lineup, which consisted of light- to heavy-duty trucks. D500 was introduced in 1965 as a mid-range heavy-duty truck. It was positioned between the lighter D100 and the heavier D700 models. The D500 was designed to handle more demanding tasks and offered increased towing and hauling capabilities. The truck featured a robust and rugged design, typical of heavy-duty trucks of that era. It had a strong chassis and was available in various body styles, including pickup trucks, flatbeds, and chassis cabs.
