One cool thing about this truck is that when International came up with the Transtar II, the overall body was the same. Some changes were made to the truck. The wipers were moved to the top and the panel was redesigned for easier access to the controls without too much sharp bends on the right arm. So really for an upgrade to this truck, here are two shortcuts to having the two different eras. The location transfer of the windshield wipers was made in 1974. And it was that way until the 4070 was discontinued all together. To make the mod easier for the player, you may want to add the 4070B cab to this design. And all it takes is just the relocation of the wipers from bottom to top and have the newer instrument panel that was built between 1974 and 1981. All of that in just one mod. But then for the current mod, you would mark this one as Transtar cabover from 1969 to 1974, and then with the wipers moved to the top and the new dash, count that as Transtar from 1974 to 1981. Also with the move I had just mentioned, it's a great way to show support for the guys who drove during the era when there were many more trucks on the road that had wipers that hung from above the driver. For more body paint ideas, Allied Van Lines bought a fleet of these.

I do want to tell you that if it was Blades that made this truck, I would like for him to add a 1974-1981 version of this truck. What International did was a minor facelift with it. On the exterior, only changes were made to it was the windshield wipers. The wipers were moved from the bottom of the windshield to the top. And on the inside, there was a different panel. I am not sure if it had a padded top but it may have had one. But the way it was shaped is that it had a triangular shape right at the engine cover, thus having close to a school bus type switch panel next to the driver that sat diagonally instead of running from the windshield to the rear wall of the driver's compartment. So for all parties that had created this truck my idea would be nice for an upgrade for when version 1.48 comes out in ATS.
